BUILDING A BETTER RELATIONSHIP
Most people think that when they find "the one" they can concentrate on the rest of their life: setting up a home, education, jobs, family, etc. They focus much of their attention on these details of their life and their relationship takes a back seat. This workshop aims to help participants move their relationship to center stage. It provides participants with some concrete ways and skills to improve their relationship, through a combination of teaching and exercises in a small group setting.
LIFE AFTER DIVORCE:
A SUPPORT & COACHING GROUP FOR DIVORCED WOMEN
Divorce rocks the very foundation of our being, and yet many of us survive it only to be surprised that the months after the legal divorce are shockingly difficult. It is almost always a confusing, stressful and chaotic time of life. This course will help each participant regroup and restore a sense of Self. It will also help each participant clarify the next steps in their lives.
SELF-CARE DURING THE HOLIDAYS:
A PRACTICAL WORKSHOP FOR DIVORCING AND RECENTLY DIVORCED WOMEN
While others eagerly anticipate the holidays, your world is collapsing around you with feelings of panic, fear, dread, and sadness. Divorcing is one of the most serious, life-altering events, so it is understandable and expected that the holiday season will increase your stress exponentially. This workshop will give you very real and powerful ways to navigate this holiday season.
LETTING GO OF ANGER
How much energy and time do you waste being angry? As many of you know, anger can be debilitating. It affects our health, including our hearts. It affects our relationships. It can also impair our ability to think and reason. The consequences of holding onto anger are enormous. This workshop will be a practical one, offering new approaches to releasing anger.
LIVING MORE DELIBERATELY
Many of us are living our lives with "agendas" and "shoulds" and "beliefs" which we collected from mothers, fathers, teachers, aunts, uncles, neighbors and the culture at large. A huge topic! This introductory workshop will help you begin to explore what is serving you now and what is not. This is part of a series of playful and yet focused mini-workshops designed to give each participant a taste of life coaching.
How do adults learn and grow? Largely by default. We learn as we live our lives, by trial and error, and at times, the learning is slow and messy.
I have created a model called the Learning Group, consisting of 4 to 8 participants, as a low-stress, low-cost approach to adult learningdifferent from conventional learning from books, trainings, workshops, therapy, counseling. The approach is informal, experiential, practical and fun. It is optimal for people who are looking for answers, skills and exploration for change. Participants receive cutting edge concepts and opportunities to practice those corresponding skills to expand their lives and their relationships.
The Learning Group model works for individual adults who appreciate that a small group environment can facilitate their learning. It’s also suited for small groups of couples, since many couples want to learn relationship skills but have limited financial resources and cannot afford weekly therapy or coaching. And it is an excellent model for employers who acknowledge lifelong learning as a valuable benefit to employees in the workplace.
In the Energy Workshop, participants gain a hands-on awareness and understanding of the human body's energy systems. I teach a five-minute, daily energy wellness routine to enhance and strengthen the healthy flow of the body's overall energies. Regular practice of this routine balances and harmonizes the body’s energy, thereby helping to reduce stress and anxiety. The workshop also offers a variety of additional exercises for stress reduction. My workshop content is based on the work of Donna Eden, author of Energy Medicine, and renowned pioneer energy medicine practitioner and healer.
